The auditor will push back. Someone has to answer.

ComplianceForge builds your ISO 9001, 14001 or 45001 management system, then puts a named person in the audit room to defend it. Not a template. Not a refund. A person.

For Australian businesses where a failed certification costs a contract, a licence or a tender.

Stage 2 audit  ISO 45001  Clause 8.1.4Illustrative exchange
  1. Auditor

Your procedure says every subcontractor is inducted before mobilising. The site register shows two crews on the job with no induction record. Explain that.

  2. Site manager

Um. I'd have to check with the office.

  3. Named validator

Those two crews were inducted at the client's gate under the head contractor's system. That's allowed under section 4.3 of your procedure. Here are both client induction records, and the bridging sign-off your supervisor did on day one.

  4. Auditor

    That covers it. Moving on.

An illustrative exchange, not a record from a real client. It shows the job: the answer was already in the system. Someone had to know where.

The paperwork is solved. The audit room isn't.

Software can write an ISO manual in an afternoon. It cannot sit across the table from an auditor, take a hard question about Clause 8, and answer it in real time.

That moment decides whether you certify. It is also where cheap systems fail: documents that read well and describe a business that doesn't exist. ComplianceForge is built for that moment. The system is how we get you there. The person is what you're buying.

Who answers when the auditor pushes back?

Every route to certification gets you documents. Only some put someone accountable in the room.

Built for businesses that can't afford to fail the audit.

Australian businesses with roughly 10 to 500 people, where certification is a condition of the work.

Construction

ISO 45001 + ISO 9001

Head contractors and government clients ask for certified safety and quality systems at prequalification. No certificate, no tender.

Mining services

ISO 45001

Contractors on Australian mine sites answer to owner safety standards and supplier approval. The system has to match what happens on shift.

Manufacturing

ISO 9001 + ISO 14001

Customers and supply chains audit their suppliers. Quality and environmental certification keeps you on the approved list.

Not for you?

If you want the cheapest possible pass and nothing serious rides on it, buy a template. We mean that. ComplianceForge is for the business where failing costs more than doing it properly.

Are you audit-exposed?

Five questions. One minute. A straight reading of how much rides on your next audit, and whether you need a person in the room.

What the reading means

  • High exposure (10 to 15)Certification stands between you and revenue, and nobody clear would answer the auditor. This is what ComplianceForge is built for.
  • Real exposure, some cover (5 to 9)Certification matters and part of the answer is in place. The risk sits between the documents and the person defending them.
  • Low exposure (0 to 4)Certification isn't carrying contract or licence risk yet. You may not need a named validator, and we'll tell you so.
01Is ISO certification a condition of work you hold or want?
02When is your next certification or surveillance audit?
03If the auditor challenged a clause today, who would answer?
04How was your current management system written?
05What does a failed or delayed certification cost you?

This check runs in your browser. Your answers stay on your device. Your reading is only sent if you choose to send an enquiry.

New editions of ISO 9001 and 14001. Build once.

ISO 9001:2026 was published on 16 September 2026, and ISO 14001:2026 on 15 April 2026. Each has a transition period of about three years. Certification bodies must be accredited to a new edition before they can audit to it, so many Australian audits will keep running against the 2015 editions for a while yet.

We'll tell you which edition your audit will use, and build so the change doesn't mean a rebuild. What the new editions change.

Certification on the line? Talk to the person who'll be in the room.

Tell us the standard, the contract or tender that needs it, and when the audit is. You'll get a straight answer on whether we're the right fit, including when we're not.
